Property Service Charge Unit

We have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the environment in which landlords and property managers operate. The personnel who work in the unit are dedicated service charge auditors and managers with enormous experience in the sector.

Residential sector

We undertake service charge audits ranging from large developments with mixed use to small developments with only a few units. Our services extend to preparation of statutory accounts and company secretarial services to residential management companies. We are fully conversant with Landlord and Tenant legislation and the new legislation within the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.

Clement Keys are affiliate members of the Association of Residential Managing Agents and the Association of Retirement Housing managers. Gavin Whitehouse, the partner who heads the specialist unit is also a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management.

Commercial Sector

We undertake service charge audits of shopping centres, retail parks and business/industrial parks of all sizes. We are fully conversant with the industry organisation code "Service Charge in Commercial Property - A Guide to Good Practice" and work closely with the property manager to ensure accounts are user friendly for lessees.
