Steve Simmonds
Steve heads up the Firm’s VAT and Indirect Tax department. He has over 25 years’ experience gained both with HM Revenue & Customs and the accounting profession.
Steve has represented many clients in negotiations with HM Revenue & Customs and looks after the VAT affairs of the firm’s audit and non-audit clients as well as undertaking one off assignments, ranging from VAT Health Checks, assessment reviews and partial exemption reviews.
Steve’s experience has proved invaluable to our clients in this complicated and specialist area of taxation.
In his spare time Steve enjoys walking long distance footpaths (preferably not in the rain!) and is a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme Expedition Leader at Silver Level.
