22nd November 2011 - Free business advice lifeline from Clement Keys
Chartered accountancy firm Clement Keys is offering a lifeline to cash strapped SMEs and start-ups with a free business advice service delivered in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
The Business Advice Service offers local companies a free initial consultation, which saves them money and could generate ideas to create more profit, according to Clement Keys’ partner Fleur Holden.
“Anyone who uses the ICAEW Business Advice Service is under no obligation, but in the current economic climate a review of business operations could generate ideas that will save SMEs money and instil confidence in micro firms that are wary of biting off more than they can chew,” says Fleur.
“The service is designed to enable SMEs to source advice on a wide range of issues, such as how to start a business, taxation, financial management and access to finance, so that they come away from the meeting with an understanding of their options and how to resolve a particular problem.
“The Government is encouraging SMEs to capitalise on the opportunities that today’s challenging trading conditions present. By helping SMEs to identify a course of action that will create jobs, this could lead to important benefits for the local economy, too.”
To take advantage of the offer, SMEs and start-ups should visit www.businessadviceservice.com
and follow the initial consultation request button, which can be found next to the Clement Keys entry on the ICAEW Directory of Firms.
