Staff Recruitment

Our staff are our biggest asset - they are hard working, enthusiastic, highly skilled and motivated individuals.

They enjoy personal development opportunities both professional and other, so we encourage them to explore the extent of their potential.

They also enjoy a challenging and varied working life, where no two days are ever the same.

Career progression can be rapid for the right person - we prefer to promote from within rather than recruit senior staff - half our partners are 'home grown'.

To find out how to progress your career with Clement Keys, Birmingham, simply e-mail your curriculum vitae with your current salary and career ambitions to the staff partner, Joe Bates, at jrbates@clementkeys.co.uk.

Student Training

Every year, Clement Keys, Birmingham, recruit a variety of students to embark on their professional careers.

Training with a medium-sized firm like Clement Keys is second to none - our students are exposed to every shape and form of assignment - from 'one-man bands' to Public Limited Companies.

Combined this with our Specialist Units and you have the perfect practical training.

For professional examinations, every encouragement is given to students - we all want the same thing - students passing examinations and gaining qualifications.

To achieve this we give financial support as well as paid study leave, and utilise the very best private tutors. Internally, we run regular professional development courses, and in doing so, as students progress, they gain the skills and knowledge to do the job, using our very own audit manual and system.

Recruitment takes place every year, usually mid-Summer. Graduates are taken on to pursue either Chartered of Chartered Certified qualifications. GCSE A-level School leavers are recruited to pursue Accounting Technician qualifications and once successfully achieved, they can then go on to study the Chartered or Chartered Certified qualification.

A relatively new innovation to Clement Keys is taking on four year sandwich students for one year in their third year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain good practical experience for a year before completing your degree. It also seems to work well all round, and so far all our placement students have applied to return after their final year.

If you think the above training is for you and in return can offer us ability, enthusiasm and commitment, then write to us at Clement Keys or e-mail your details to our personnel manager, Melanie Parker at melanie.parker@clementkeys.co.uk
