CLEMENT KEYS APPOINTS NEW PARTNER

Chartered accountants Clement Keys has appointed Chartered Accountant Fleur Holden as a new partner bringing the total to thirteen.  Mrs Holden joined Clement Keys last year in response to continued growth in the audit business and the charities and not for profit department.

Mrs Holden graduated from Leeds University with a BA Hons degree, trained with Grant Thornton and qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2000.

Commenting on the new appointment, Phil Cook, Managing Partner at Clement Keys said: “Fleur has a broad range of expertise and is a welcome addition to our partnership. “We are committed to recognising talent and potential in our senior managers and promoting to partner on merit rather then age or gender.  Our position as one of the regions most successful independent firms is testament to the strength and diversity of the partners who are driving forward the expansion of the business.”

Female partners are a rarity in the accountancy profession and this appointment makes the ratio of female partners one in seven at Clement Keys, higher than the latest national average of one in ten, according to the latest survey from Accountancy Age magazine.
