CLEMENT KEYS CELEBRATES COLLEGE SUCCESS

Chartered accountants Clement Keys is celebrating a major client win, having won a national contract to provide funding audits to the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).   

The contract, which will be delivered in association with Tenon, enhances the practice’s existing educational expertise and places it amongst the top ten providers of internal, external and funding audits to educational institutions across England .Clement Keys and Tenon will be responsible for auditing more than £400million of education spend allocated to twenty-one colleges primarily in London and the South of England.  

Clement Keys Director of Internal Audit Lee Glover believes that ability of the two organisations to work together was central to their success: “Tenon is one of three firms with recent experience of this type of work and together we were able to offer the correct balance of resources, skills and experience to meet the LSC’s needs. “This win represents a significant success for us and it reinforces our position as a leading provider of audit to the whole of the public sector and not just education.” The work will be delivered by a joint team comprising of staff from both Clement Keys’ Birmingham and Tenon’s Basingstoke office.

Coordination and planning will be key as the contract requires substantial man power over a short period because all audits are to be completed by the end of November.
