Birmingham chartered accountants Clement Keys has scooped
the top place in a new category for a major industry award having won the
Accountancy Firm of the Year (between 6 and 15 partners) category in the
annual BWMSCA Awards. Clement Keys has won the Accountancy Firm of the Year twice
before in 2003 and 2005 - or up to 10 partners/principals and was
previously voted a runner up. We are delighted to be the first firm to win this new
category, says Clement Keys managing partner, Michael Meakin.
It reflects our position as one of the regions leading
accountancy firms and illustrates how much we have grown since we first
won the award for up to ten partners in 2003. 2007 was a busy year for us as we reached the major
milestone of over 100 staff and took
on additional premises by expanding into the offices next door at We are now recognised as the leading independent firm in
the city and ranked in size amongst the top ten accountants in the Firms are judged on their achievements during the year in respect of business development, staff training, service to clients and innovation. The Award was presented by Dermott Kelly of Allied Irish Bank (UK) at a lunch ceremony held at the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston. |
