Tipton rivet company Bralo UK is on the move to larger premises in Wednesbury just five years after it was set up as a subsidiary of Spanish engineering firm Bralo SA of Madrid. Birmingham chartered accountants Clement Keys, who specialise in business start ups, advised Bralo UK on incorporation and helped the business put in place the HR and IT resources required to commence trading. Clement Keys has been working with the company ever since, assisting with stock control, payroll, book-keeping, management accounts and VAT consultancy. Bralo UK sells blind rivets, insert nuts and setting tools, which are manufactured by its parent company in Spain. The UK subsidiary supports the automotive and white goods sectors and sheet metal fabrication industries, including shelving, packing case, suitcase and windows manufacturers. Originally, Bralo UK was based at Cleton Street Business Park in Tipton. Now, following a period of significant growth, the company is relocating its operation to Leabrook Road in Wednesbury. Bralo SA has invested in the new premises and Clement Keys was called in to advise on the purchase of the property and the structure of the deal, in terms of the taxation implications. Legal advice was provided by Higgs & Son. "Bralo UK became successful very quickly because it focussed on its core capabilities right from the outset - providing a top quality range of products and an efficient service to its key customer groups." Stephen Price, managing director of Bralo UK, says the company is actively pursuing a growth strategy in a bid to win a greater share of the UK market and he expects to take on additional staff in due course. |
