Beaumontä, a Stourbridge based company, is to embark on an ambitious period of expansion following the introduction of a new investor. Midlands businessman Kevin Dawson has taken a 50% stake in Beaumontä, who supply bar sundry and catering products to the pub and hospitality trade. Ray Williams, who established the company twenty-five years ago, stays as Chairman and retains a 50% stake. The company is recognised as a market leader, and supplies the drinks industry through a number of channels, including cash and carry outlets, wholesalers, distilleries and breweries. Best known for their spirit measures, Beaumontä also supplies a comprehensive range of bar sundries and glass accessories. In addition to being a major force in the UK drinks industry, Beaumontä also exports to over thirty countries worldwide. Ross Cocker, partner and corporate finance specialist at Birmingham chartered accountants Clement Keys brokered the deal and advised Beaumontä on the financial aspects. He was also instrumental in bringing the two individuals together when he introduced Mr Williams, who he has worked with for many years, to Mr Dawson. Mr Williams said: "I am delighted that Kevin has joined us at this exciting time in the company's development. We have ambitious plans to develop the company and Kevin will play an important role in helping us drive the company forward." "Beaumontä is a very successful company and has a great future. The bar and hospitality sector is recognised as being a particularly exciting marketplace, and we have a number of innovative new products to launch over the next twelve months that will have a significant impact on the industry," added Mr Dawson. Mr Cocker concluded: "I am delighted to have been instrumental in bringing together these two very successful businessmen and am sure that together they will succeed and make Beaumontä the best known name in the industry." |
