Clement Keys Applauds Top Industry Award for the Darkness Manager

Chartered accountants Clement Keys, Birmingham has welcomed a music industry award for Sue Whitehouse, manager of the country's most talked about rock band The Darkness. Sue was named as manager of the year at the recent 2004 Music Week Awards.

Clement Keys advises Sue's company, Whitehouse Management, in addition to handling financial planning, taxation compliance and auditing for The Darkness. They recently helped the band switch banks and their affairs are now looked after by the specialist entertainment unit at Coutts of London.

Partner Michael Meakin, who specialises in advising people working in the entertainment and motorsport industries has been a personal friend of Sue's for nearly twenty years and was one of the first to pass on congratulations.

"I am delighted that her talents in bringing bands like The Darkness to the fore have been recognised," he says.
